God is the Author of relationship. In the Scriptures, God gives us many examples of what can happen when we wait for Him to choose our partners. When we do this, we can be sure that His choice will far exceed any that we might make. And it's because He knows us better than we know ourselves - He knows what and who we can be with the right one by our side.

It is His design that we, like Adam and Eve in the garden, entrust Him with the privilege of choosing for us. With the power of free will, we are free to choose our relationship partners, but God waits to see if we will give our power back to Him. Only then can we walk hand in hand with God, between two that He has joined.
