"And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives." - Matthew 26:30.
After breaking bread and drinking wine together, the disciples went with Jesus to the mountain to pray - their last praise and worship service before the crucifixion. With the exception of Jesus' birth, no more appropriate time for praise and worship existed in the history of the world.
Praise and worship are an integral part of our relationship with the Father. We should be continually in an attitude of thankfulness for His mercies, and praise for what He has done. The act of raising our voices to the Lord unlocks a powerhouse of blessings that Satan himself cannot arrest.
